Culture is a way of life as humans have a more complex social life, more abundant material equipment and greater continuity of tradition. It varies from one social group to another. Somehow, it can also be viewed as a characteristic way of doing things in a particular society. Culture change vary also….’ depending on the commitment of the culture to growth and development.’

I believe and agree that every culture has values that run counter to biblical principles, and each culture constructs myths and lies to promote these values. And these values system has also infected our Christian schools and that is an insidious to the healthy spiritual formation of kids.

It can’t be denied that we live in a celebrity culture that values comfort, wealth and image the reason why Christian kids wants to grow up likely our cynical and ungodly music, athletic or even business celebrities rather than like the godly janitor, education, or neighborhood pastor. In short we call this afluenza.

Afluenzas: described as the a painful, contagious, socially transmitted condition of overload, debt, anxiety and waste resulting from the dogged pursuit of more and our kids have become infected with this disease as parents are. And this kind of disease if not treated earlier in our children can cause permanent discontent which leads to a sense of entitlement, accompanied by rejection of self-discipline, a deep repugnance for delayed quantifications, and the embracing of self-indulgence.

This indulgence as stated here, ‘promotes a lack of frustration tolerance and produces an in ability in children to persevere in the face of difficulties.’ Gratitude is one of God’s primary which for inducing other Christian qualities. A lack of gratitude was the strongest thread that’s emerging from the spiritual formation. That’s why there is an importance of cultivating the heart of gratitude when pursuing spiritual maturity.

I too, believe that a Christian School educational strategies can help our kids fight against afluenza by creating an atmosphere of influence in:

1. resisting the consumptive lifestyle.
2. Identifying and counting the cultural lie that wealth is the measure of a person.
3. cultivating a heart of gratitude.
4. never quitting but learning to persevere
5. Self-discipline
6. overcoming the temptation of self-indulgence

I firmly believe that Christian schools should not just throw up their hands and accept the way our culture is, by doing nothing but must strive in counterfeiting cultural and cultivate Christian character from secularism that continues to influence the lives of our children.

Hear and Listen”

Find Out for Yourself

One of the most difficult questions for me to answer is, “How do I hear the voice of God?” After 30 years of walking with Him my simple explanation is, “You have to find out for yourself.” Every human being has his or her own unique fingerprint and DNA. Taking this into consideration, I believe God has created each of us to respond to Him based on a specific personalized method of communication.

God used a stubborn mule to communicate to Balaam, the prophet, because Balaam himself was stubborn. Moses was halted by the phenomenon of a bush that continued burning, while David simply needed a prophet or an angel to speak to him. God sent Samuel, the prophet, to speak to David on His behalf, and Nathan who came to him later with a divinely inspired riddle. Elisha needed a musician to hear God and prophesy, while Elijah needed to be alone with the elements surrounding him–whirlwinds, earthquakes, fire, rain, etc. Some people enjoy the simplicity of a human voice speaking to them on behalf of God, while others enjoy the supernatural signs directing them personally. Others prefer the less confrontational vision or dream, and if you’re anything like me, you may prefer animated impressions.

God is speaking all the time, but some people encounter a sound barrier. Let’s speak about the problem of linguistics–language and it’s structure, and specifically morphology. Morphology is the study of the FORMS of things in particular. When God called Aaron and Miriam aside and rebuked them after they mentally demoted Moses due to their critical opinion of him marrying an Ethiopian woman, He based His rebuke on a few simple issues. He was more concerned about Moses’ history as a meek and humble servant and the fact that he had remained faithful in ALL God’s House. This seemed to be very precious to God and shows us that this aspect of hearing Him is very important–faithfulness. Moses had no selfish intentions, and in fact tried to get out of the calling to go and face Pharaoh, demanding the release of 3.5 million Jews. Aaron and Miriam conducted their own conference and decided that they had also heard God and felt to be on the same level of perception as Moses. This assumption came because he had married an Ethiopian woman and they felt this was wrong and that his actions made their claim credible.

I want you to understand what God says about Moses’ ability to hear from Heaven. The fact is, Moses did NOT hear God as others did. God communicated to others in the form of visions, dreams and dark speech (riddle), but not so with Moses. The Bible says that God spoke to Moses face to face. According to Numbers 12:8, Moses recognized “the FORM of the Lord.” The word “form” in the Greek is “Morphe.” In looking at this, it became clear to me that in order to “hear” God, you first have to “see” God, or maybe a better word is to “perceive” God. This is such an exciting, adventurous thing! Instead of the act of “hearing” God being a difficult, teeth-pulling event, God has made it SIMPLE.

We have complicated it because we have been controlled by presupposition that is inaccurate and misrepresenting God. Presupposition is “a thing assumed beforehand, to presume the workings and the outcome at the beginning.” Literally, the word “presuppose” comes from “place under before.” Our enemy attempts to “place us under” the supposed outcome in our minds before we have the chance to prove otherwise. God removes our presupposition with “revealed knowledge,” which is a prophetic word or some glimpse of the future, and this is where most people stumble. Remember, when knowledge is necessary to be revealed, it will be discovered.

God speaks about those things that are relevant to a given generation. Would it have served God’s purpose 200 years ago to lecture His people about radioactive decay, geological strata and DNA? As challenges arise, so solutions are provided. When we are confronted with problems of any kind, our need to hear from God increases, but the mind and imagination seem to grip our perception by our dominating presupposed mindset. We must be aware of this so that we can “combat” the instinctive will to presuppose by “speaking and believing” the future and destiny in our lives.

Renewing Our Minds

So in order to hear God, are we supposed to have a degree in Morphology? Your mind and your heart can easily, yes easily, hear God but first, you have to be freed from this deceitful, defeatist mindset that plagues the majority. In Romans 12:2, Paul speaks of something called the “renewal of your mind.” To “renew” means that you are to destroy your set of presupposed ideas and reestablish your relationship with progress. Progressive revelation is how man was built to operate and the suggestive interruptions of defeatism constantly hinder our progress. So when you presuppose the outcome of any given situation in your life without giving yourself the chance to change that notion, you have stopped progressing and the process of decay has begun. Spiritual decomposition is rampant on the earth because men are so afraid to confront issues and prove any suggestion of failure to be wrong.

David proved Goliath wrong by facing what Israel thought was going to be a terrible defeat and watch how he does it; he speaks words that are contrary to the presupposed notion that a giant will destroy a freckle-faced teenager with a few stones. David speaks as if he has attained a knowledge that has been proven in his life. He was in fact prophesying to the giant. This knowledge was revealed to David at the right moment and rather than debating with the Generals of Israel, he RAN to Goliath displaying an unusual confidence. Getting back to Moses, the Bible says that Moses recognized the “form” of the Lord. This is very important to notice because we all have our presupposed ideas of what God looks like. I suggest you get rid of those ideas immediately!

God could come to you in the form of Mickey Mouse or speak to you through a billboard or WHATEVER He chooses. We often have situations in our lives that begin to dominate our perception and at this point, prayer becomes the force that drives us to hear God’s voice. We usually seek for an answer and then wait to hear from God. However, if He chooses to use an object or a sign to speak to us, how do we know that it’s related to our issue and that it is in fact God speaking to us? How can we be sure to recognize His form? God said Moses was the greatest prophet at that time simply because he recognized the “form” of Lord. What does this mean?

Recognizing the “Form” in which God Speaks

Is the OBJECT (form) related to the SUBJECT (your problem)? Let’s look at what this word means so that we can better understand how God enjoys communicating with us. FORM: The external shape, appearance, or configuration of an object, in contradistinction to the matter of which it is composed; in metaphysics, the active, determining principle of a thing as distinguished from matter, the potential principle. The concept of form is also indispensable to the practice and criticism of several disciplines other than philosophy. In literature for example, the term may refer to the schema, structure, or genre that a writer chooses for the presentation of his subject–e.g., a novel, short story, maxim, haiku, sonnet, etc. It may also refer to the internal structure of the work, and to a great extent, a work’s critical success depends on the degree to which the artist is able to integrate the content and internal structure within the framework of its external form.

Let’s say your subject matter is about being enlightened regarding taking a new job with another company and you are seeking an answer from God. The first thing most of us expect is a clear concise voice saying, “GO” or “NO.” Oh, how I would love it to be so easy, and I’ll never understand the reason for God’s manner in revealing Himself, but it is exciting because it’s like a puzzle being put together. As you know, when you put a puzzle together, you are often able to match the pieces quickly once you recognize the FORM. “Oh look, there’s a foot and there’s the sky, etc.” Now you want to hear about a new job, so what would you look for? The internal structure within the framework of the external form. What does that mean?

Well, you wake up the next morning and you go to your favorite coffee place before going to work and while you’re there drinking your triple grande, minding your own business, people around you are talking and chatting and suddenly one of the ladies says, “I’ve lost my diamond, it must have fallen out somewhere.” They all begin frantically searching and suddenly you spot the glistening little diamond, and you stretch and pick it up. You hand it back to the lady and she thanks you for finding it. As you sit down to finish your cup, waiting to hear from God about whether you should be moving from your present company to accept a position with a JEWELRY STORE, you suddenly discover you’ve just been given a piece of the puzzle. A complete stranger just lost her diamond and you found it!

What could God be saying considering your present position (is) in the “Lost and Found” department of Macy’s? Oh dear, maybe God is saying you should stay in your current place of employment. How frustrating! Possibly, but it’s also an adventure. Now keep going and don’t make a rash decision. God’s not in a hurry, obviously, so why are you? Look for the next piece of the puzzle– believe me, He will appear in some form or another and even though it may not seem that the object is related to your subject, until you see the entire puzzle complete, you won’t know.

Two days later, you’re driving along in your car and you decide to turn on the radio, and guess what song is playing? “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend!” The name of the company you are contemplating joining is “A Girl’s Best Friend–Diamonds.” You definitely have another piece of the puzzle now, a huge piece. Are you getting the picture? I hope so, because you are going to have so much fun recognizing God, and you will grow closer to Him as you realize how close He really is to you.

God enjoys communicating and interacting in our lives, and when you begin to take actions based on His direction, you’ll find that your life will become an endless adventure, limited only to your creativity and obedience to His voice.

On November 18, 2007 in Houston, Texas, the Spirit of God showed me a great “Door” that He has opened which will result in some of the most unusual undertakings in the Kingdom. He said, “It will affect science, it will affect medical science, it will affect your economy, it will affect your politics. For in 2008, there will be a complete turnaround. That which you could not obtain, you will obtain! That which you could not perform, you shall perform…!” This is God’s promise and I want you to receive it for yourself and your family. Let me encourage you today to believe His word and don’t let anything steal His promise from you. Don’t let your presupposition, self-prejudice, fear, or any enemy dictate your course to you any longer. This is your time to receive the promise and prosper!

True Story “a church with a witch”

A brief on the Gathering at witchChurch(“not real name”), Iloilo City on September 20, 2008 at around 9:00 o’clock in the evening.

 

The worship gathering/intercession took place at the Sanctuary and the following attended from FFI:

We were invited to proceed to the sanctuary by Pastora Angel(“not real name”) and Pastor Bord(“not real name”) where the worship/intercession was to take place.  When we entered the sanctuary, there were around 10 children in the group aging from 8 to 12 years old and one little girl probably age five.  They were on the stage sitted, playing on the instruments and some were simply sitted on the floor talking casually.  There was a sort of excitement and anticipation in the air.  There were some adult women who were laying matts on the floor and some men who were also assisting in the preparation of the activity.

 

After 30 minutes or so of waiting, Pastora Angel called on everyone to take their places in the matts and to to form a circle as the worship will now start.  We sitted ourselves on the floor and Pastora Angel introduced us to the group.  She also inquired if we know what they are doing and she pointed to the children as the warriors of the church but now some adults have joined in.  She further explained that they are doing this in preparation for tomorrow’s service.  She then announced that we will start with worship and requested the male worship leader to start playing the guitar.  Arlene Parreno, then asked the permission of Pastora Angel if its alright if they could pass around the anointing oil before starting the worship.  Pastora Angel assented and while the anointing oil was passed around, she took time to explain to the children the meaning and purpose of the anointing oil.

 

Before the worship started we also noticed the arrival of Amalia with a lady wearing white pants with black pin stripes and white shirt who took off her jacket and started to crawl and join in the circle.  The worship was really intense and everyone was encourage to speak in ‘tongues’.  During worship, we noticed that Pastor Bord and Pastora Angel started to lay hands on the children.  The children started to sway, move and appeared to be filled with the Holy Spirit.  While some children was in this condition, apparently one or two of them started to see a vision as they started pointing towards the ceiling.  Everyone started looking up and Pastora Angel asked if we can see the rainbow surrounding the lights. We looked up and noticed that indeed there is a ring of rainbow on each round pin light.  Because of this, the worship was interrupted in the sense that everyone was trying to see and discern what the children were pointing to. When the novelty of the “vision’ subsided the singing started again and Pastora Angel enjoined everyone to just pray in tongues.

 

Very distinctly the lady in white shirt who seemed to have some major role in the entire activity and which we noticed that pieces of paper and a pen were made ready for her use.  She started to go towards the middle of the circle and made frantic gestures.  She started pointing towards the ceiling, and making signs with her hands to form a heart in her chest.  She started to speak in ‘tongues’ and appeared to be in a trance.  The words that came out from her sounded like “ek, ek, ek, ek, ek , ek………….”.  Pastora Angel then asked the group, that if anyone has any interpretation of what is being said he should just declare it.  She continued on for several minutes but no one stepped out to interpret what she was saying.. and then there was this plumb lady in sleeveless who started declaring in English:  “Jesus is here…”  she was not able to finish the words… when the lady in white started to rise from the floor and said “no, no, no, no, no…….. apparently not agreeing with the interpretation of what she wanted to relay.  Then the lady, frantically wrote something on the paper, she handed this to Pastora Angel, who was obviously trying to comprehend what this lady was trying to express… all the time this lady just manage to say “ek, ek, ek, no, no, no, and was crying and repeatedly doing the gestures.. pointing towards the ceiling, making a heart sign, pointing to her knees, kneeling down, bowing her head and touching her feet… she would write.. open the bible.. show it to Pastora Angel, who tried to read it and understand her…. And after several attempts.. she opened a passage in the bible.. and Pastora Angel read it and started declaring “repent”.. to which the lady in white vigorously nodded her head…and then she gestured to her heart again.. and Pastora Angel started to say that we should all repent because our hearts are not pure.   Then the lady gestured that we should all kneel and Pastora Angel told us to kneel.. and then the lady again made several gestures… and we were told by Pastora Angel to kneel with bended knees.  The children were instructed to kneel, with their heads bowed and buried in their hands.  Some of the participants, especially those from our group, did not kneel in a manner they wanted.  And this lady started to look very grieved, and she started to point to certain individuals shaking her head and making gestures with her hands to form a heart.  The message that came across that to the people she pointed out.. they do not have a pure heart.

 

Then they started to go around and correct the people who were kneeling not in the manner as instructed.  For one,  the lady in white approached Dra Lennie who had her eyes closed, and arms lifted but was sitting on her legs instead of kneeling.  So, they lifted her and she was made to kneel.  Then there was this boy who had glasses, but who, earlier in the worship was told by Pastora Angel that the Lord has healed him and that he no longer needs his glasses.  They took his glasses off from him.  This little boy, was kneeling on the pillow, and the lady in white when she saw this started to cry out, shake her head and cried.. ek, ek, ek, ek… no, no, no, no and pulled the pillow from off the knees of the little boy.   This took several minutes…. Some were on bended knees crying out to the Lord, and honestly… its hard to recall what the rest were doing, but you can just hear the cries of people around you.  To our surprise, we were again told by Pastora Angel that Jesus is not happy.. so that we are to kneel with our arms lifted up and we will do this for an hour. This time, Amos the son of Pastora Angel was also in the circle and they were like conferring with him and with the lady.. and we were told that we should do this for 30 minutes but the lady made a sign and shook her head and Pastora Angel told us.. we will do this for an hour.  And they conferred again, and we were instructed that this time while raising our arms we will say: “Jesus in Lord, Jesus is Lord.”  So there we were, kneeling down, lifting both our hands up high and declaring Jesus is Lord.. at times we were told.. louder, louder… then at times.. notes will be handed to Pastora Angel, who will declare that they see Angels descending from heaven and that Jesus Christ is ready to minister to us and will go down… This would encourage the group and the shouting of Jesus is Lord will get intensified.   After 10-15 minute only… we were gestured to stop because Jesus is happy and is now please with us.

 

Then they started to confer again… Amos, Pastora Angel and the lady in white who at during this times could not communicate in earthly language that is understandable to us.. She communicates thru gestures, sign language and seemed to be in an intense state of trance.  This made us even think that she is a foreigner. 

 

After several moments of discussion among themselves.. the group was again instructed to run around the sanctuary 7 times and declare the words:  “Jesus is Lord..” We were also told to make one straight line.  It is worth mentioning that some of the children were having encounters of some sort.  Some said they were dancing with angels, a little girl in lavender in particular was shouting and running around saying that there is fire in her hands and body… that it was hot and she can’t seem to take the heat.  Other adults were also running around… allegedly dancing with the angels.  There was also people laughing and some were just sitting quietly, doing their own thing or whatever it is the Spirit is doing.

 

But when Pastora Angel instructed the group to run around the sanctuary seven times in single line… everyone except the two girls the one in lavender and the one who was instructed to dance for the Lord remained.. as they were still in the state of just moving, swaying, and shaking.  After, the 7^th turn we were again told that we should all march to the gym.  We again formed one straight line and followed them to the gym and even down to the ground floor where the entrance was.. pass through the alleys.  This time we were told to raise our hands as if bearing a banner and to continue to speak in tongues.  Pastora Angel and Pastor Bord took the school flag with them and carried it wherever we went.  When we arrived at the entrance of the sanctuary, we were made to kneel down. And walk towards the stage or the altar of the sanctuary kneeling down and declaring that Jesus is Lord all the time we are doing this.  Then when you reach the last seat, you are to shout Amen!

 

Noticeable to everyone, at this time there were four more individuals left on the aile. Michael and Anne who were half standing and sitting on the chair somehere on the fifth or 6^th row and Arlene who was still at the back of the auditorium.  The lady in white instructed them to kneel and finish.. after a second they were instructed to just crawl.  Which they did.  Arlene however choose to kneel at the same time she was making slashing gestures with her hand and making silent declarations which was not audible to everyone.  Finally she reached the last seat, and she was told to say Amen.

 

After everyone was gathered, we were told to worship and the lady in white started to humm a tune and the guy holding the guitar started to strum and sing a song, but the lady in white gestured no, no, no… and she made a gesture as if she was holding a guitar and telling the man with the guitar to follow the chords that her fingers is making in an imaginary guitar.  And the worship begun.. after it subsided.. Pastora Angel received instructions from the lady in white that the Lord will now heal those who wants to be healed.   And she asked anybody who wants healing to go up front.  Two persons came forward.  The first one was the plumb mother who earlier declared Jesus is here.  The Lady in white stood up and proceeded to twist and pressed her right arm and she was being assisted by Pastora Angel. Then she pointed to her stomach and they proceeded to touch it and pressed her back.  The second is a man in white.. this time they twisted his left arm and elbow and made him rotate his left arm around his sides.

 

After the healing sessions, and while the singing was still on-going we were again told that the Lord told us that we can now rest.  The children started to take their pillows on the matt and exhaustively lay down.  Most of the children slept right away because of exhaustion.

 

Then, while everyone was now settling down to rest, Arlene Parreno approached Pasotra Angel and asked if she can share what the Holy Spirit has impressed upon her heart.  She started to say that there is a spirit of idolatry and that said spirit is not welcome is this place.  This was not received well by the lady in white who started to speak in her unintelligible manner and started to say no, no, no, no and made gestures of closing her mouth and pointing to Arlene and shaking her head vigorously.  Arlene however did not stop and this lady started to write something on the paper that read that Jesus is the truth and the life.  And Arlene confirmed that that indeed the true Jesus Christ is the truth and the life and that she only speaks the truth and that all glory belongs to God and to no other.  Then, the lady started to write the word blasphemy of the Spirit and Pastora Angel told Arlene to shut up. To which Arlene said, she submits to the pleasure of Pasotra Angel and then Pastor Bord came and ask what is wrong, to which Arlene started to share to Pastor Bord and the lady in white went to crawling to Pastor Bord touching his knees and begging Pastor Bord not to listen to Arlene and she was frantically crying and gesturing and making her usual sound of ek, ek, ek, ek, no no no,no.  Pastor Bord requested if we could leave them alone because they will meet and discuss the matter.

 

“3 Days to Remove the Veil of Hostility so Creativity and Order Work in Harmony!”

Limp or Leap!

When I was in Minnesota with Dutch Sheets last week, one of the points he communicated had to do with “being halted between two opinions.” The Hebrew word for halted means to limp, but can also mean to leap. This is the word pesach, the same word used for Passover. I knew the Lord was speaking this to all of us.

We are at a key decisive time in our lives, the history of this nation, and the rearranging of many things in our spiritual spheres throughout the world.

The danger that we face in the midst of change is to be halted, caught between two opinions, or double minded over an issue. This is usually the result of an old emotion, wound, or mindset that we have not yet subdued by the Spirit of God. This creates a hostility in our mind that we need to shift and change so that we may embrace our future wholeheartedly. We either limp or leap! We must leave one dimension of captivity this year, and “Passover” into freedom to secure our future. Let’s LEAP into FREEDOM.

This prayer focus is to help you understand your mind and how it resists change. The Lord’s obedience to set His face like a flint removed the veil of hostility between God and mind. This victory gave us the ability to experientially enter into a freedom and fullness of His creative power working in our lives.

Your Environment Affects the Way You Think

In the Word of God, your mind is synonymous with your heart and also your (human) spirit. Therefore, the mind is more than just the information we have in our brain. Your mind is made up of your belief system, your actions (however pure they are), and your deep emotional memories that have resulted from your decisions (right or wrong) and others decisions toward you.

Your environment affects the way you think. This has generational consequences. Your brain is the information processor linked with your nervous system that is categorizing the input coming into your life. “The pure in heart see God.” Therefore, I felt it was important for us to come into a new place of communion with God and gain new vision of His character and Being in the world. Let’s ask the Lord to redo our hearts, minds, and even transform our brains so we LEAP into this next season.

The Heavenly Realms: Worshiping in the Three Heavens

Robert Heidler and I recently taught the Issachar School course, “The Heavenly Realms: Worshiping in the Three Heavens.” The Lord began to move in a wonderful way. Falma Rufus, an incredible minister, prophetic singer and intercessor, along with Leann Squier, one of the most gifted songwriters and prophetic psalmists I know, were assisting us.

I began to teach on how David established the pattern of Heaven and positioned the Ark of his Covenant. This was known as David’s Tabernacle. In Amos 9, it is prophesied that David’s Tabernacle will be restored in generations to come. This prophecy was repeated in Acts 15, and then expanded in the book of Revelation. The interesting thing was that when David established his Tabernacle, he did not put a veil between the Ark and the people of God, as had been done in Moses’ Tabernacle.

In David’s Tabernacle, they worshipped freely. The Tabernacle was a place of praise, worship, prayer, gaining prophetic strategy, and revelation for victory in war. David had seen into a Heavenly realm and gained God’s pattern for the future, and replicated Heaven’s pattern in the earth realm.

The Corpus Callosum

While I was speaking, all of the sudden LeAnn began to experience an incredible move of God in her life. She saw (by the Spirit) a partition in her brain from front to back. This was like the glass of a car window that rolls down. This partition just dropped in her brain. All of a sudden, she felt her brain change and her heart rejoice. As she shared this, she knew it was a wall of hostility in her mind that had caused creativity (the right-side operation of the mind) and order (the predominant left-side linear operations of the brain) to be hostile and compete with each other.

The Corpus Callosum connects or divides the right and left spheres of your brain. This causes the brain to communicate back and forth properly. If the Corpus Callosum is damaged or not functioning correctly, you can have a “dissociative split brain” syndrome.

The left side of the brain works with sequential analysis and logical interpretation. This side takes symbolic language and interprets the symbols to produce order. Language, mathematics, and reasoning are all predominant functions of the left side of the brain. Memory is stored in a language format. If your memories are filled with emotional wounds, this will prevent new order from coming forth.

If you have ever experienced failure in an area and not reconciled that loss, creativity in the right hemisphere will not be expressed properly so that new order can be established. The right hemisphere operates holistically to gain vision and the overall picture of the environment that surrounds you. Visual/spatial skills work from the right side. Spiritually, a seer or prophet uses this side to “see” what God is seeing. Then one who interprets uses the left side of the brain to aid in understanding what is being communicated spatially.

If you experience a trauma in your life, refuse forgiveness and grow bitter in spirit (your heart region), then your heart hardens and your brain parts will not communicate efficiently. Your emotions will become fragmented.

The left brain creates a grid, boundary and layers of understanding. Amos 9 talks about layers. Wineskins form as structure is positioned and order is administrated. However, when a wineskin refuses new revelation and creativity, it begins a “brittle process” of hardening and becoming old. Therefore, as the right brain attempts to pour creative revelation into the left brain, the order of the left resists the new and becomes stagnant, restrictive or locked down.

To be “God’s peculiar people” in this age and generation, we must join together new creative revelation and then form the order for the future.

 

“Everything Became Clear!”

As LeAnn shared her experience, I was amazed. Overall, she is one of the most creative people I know. However, I had always noticed that she would love to have things well thought out and wanted things to be in perfect order before she would step out spiritually to deliver what the Lord was showing her. Even though she always obeyed the Lord and moved in spontaneous worship to deliver the “new song” of the Lord, she could feel the resistance within herself as she stepped out in faith.

She said that when this barrier broke, it was as if the competing forces of her mind reconciled immediately. This allowed her to begin a realm of processing revelation and information in a completely different form. She said, “Everything became clear!” She shared as if the two portions of her brain were no longer at war but came into a harmony and synchronization.

When she taught her session, she was just incredible. She could see and communicate in a dimension of truth that she had never been able to express before. Truth and creativity came into a new harmonized context. This was what the Lord was talking to the woman at the well about. He told her that there would be a time when we would worship in Spirit and Truth. We are in that time.

Since then, it is as if LeAnn is writing two or three songs a week. She communicated that the film or cloud lifted and the resistance lifted for order to be in place before she could receive creativity. As LeAnn shared, the wall between left and right hemispheres in your brain should be permeable. Creativity should be welcomed by order to create new order. Creativity should welcome boundaries so the expressed nature of God in us can be seen fully.

BOTH SIDES OF YOUR BRAIN SHOULD WORK PROPERLY. Yes, you will usually have one dominant sphere, but both spheres should efficiently associate creativity and order. The perfect will of God is for our mind to be ONE and stayed on Him. This is unity and releases the anointing.

The Next 3-Day Prayer Focus

These next three days ask the Lord to remove trauma, hostility and enmity to any revelation that the Lord has attempted to release to you. Break down fears that are preventing new creativity from being expressed. Worship in new ways. You will feel a desire rise up to worship. You will sense a new way that Holy Spirit is asking you to express yourself. You will see how you have been hostile to new ideas and new forms of worship.

The next three days this focus will help us with the concept of Awaken!

Day 1: Read Romans 6, 7, 8. Meditate on these scriptures. Read Romans 6 at the breaking of the day. Then read Romans 7 at lunch. In the evening, read Romans 8. Command any hidden resisting hostility in you to be EXPOSED.

Day 2: Read John 4. Memorize Isaiah 26:3. Ask the Lord to show you any hidden prejudices in you related to gender and race. The disciples with Jesus in Samaria had issues with Him talking to a woman and a Samaritan. These were the leaders of the new wineskin. Jesus was dealing with old mindsets against prejudice and gender.

Day 3: Read Amos 9, Acts 15, and Psalm 47. Declare that you will see David’s Tabernacle being restored in your generation. Spend three minutes clapping your hands and shouting before the Lord! Thank Him that your atmosphere has changed.

JoAnn McFatter: “KINGDOM OF GOD TRANSITION–WAGING WAR WITH OUR OLD MIND SETS”

“We must wage war with our dullness of spirit to press into the revelation of who He is in order to release the Kingdom of God in the Earth.”

Transition…one of the most widely used words in the body of Christ these days; almost to the point of losing its impact. The transition for us all has seemingly been so drawn out, that it’s become a way of life–one that produces a love/hate relationship with the very concept.

Wage War with Our Old Mindsets

I remember hearing a man give the illustration of God closing one door with the promise of opening another; the tension being that God failed to mention just how long the hallway was between these two doors. As do many of you, I groaned in response. At that time, never did I dream that the door being opened was connected by a “vertical” hallway rather than a “horizontal” hallway, and thus, our struggle with this “otherworldly” transition.

“AFTER this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in Heaven! And the first voice which I had heard addressing me like (the calling of) a war trumpet said, Come up here, and I will show you what must take place in the future.” Revelation 4:1  

Interesting that it was “the sound of a war trumpet,” because that is exactly what is happening in this “transition” we have been called into. We must basically wage war with the old mindsets that keep us from “coming up” into this divine opportunity. It is an invitation to enter a Heavenly door, and enter into the revelation that we need to “overcome” in this transition of bringing the Kingdom of Heaven to the Earth.

That is the ultimate transition that we are a part of. That is why we struggle so when we view our experience as a horizontal one. Though we do have a personal walking out of it, the only way we will find our way is to first engage in the vertical transition that is taking place.

“And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the Kingdom of Heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force (as a precious prize–a share in the Heavenly Kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion).” Matthew 11:12

I propose that the naturally minded man, along with his traditions, has taken the Kingdom of God captive here on the earth, and therein lays the task before us. The problem is that we are our own worst enemy. This war must be waged within us if the Truth is to be manifest on the earth.

“Nor will people say, Look! Here (it is)! or, See, (it is) there! For behold, the Kingdom of God is within you (in your hearts) and among you (surrounding you).” Again, from this verse, we see it is not horizontal, but vertical (or inward) that we must look.

We must look up to receive the inward transformation that must take place. And I believe the first and foremost revelation that will bring us there is through that open door in Revelation 4.

Somewhere along the line in recent years, we passed out of the Church age and into the Kingdom age. Unless we realize that the very nature of it is Spirit, we will continue to hit walls over and over and over, with which we are all too familiar. We must wage war with our dullness of spirit to press into the revelation of who He is in order to release the Kingdom of God in the earth.

Worthy is The Lamb!

It all centers around the very revelation of “Worthy is the Lamb!” It is by this that we become overcomers of this dullness of spirit realm. It is this very Scripture that “the testimony of Jesus” is brought to fullness.

“Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive the glory and honor and dominion, for You created all things; by Your will they were (brought into being) and were created.” Revelation 4:11

Then we are brought even deeper into the revelation in the next chapter.

“AND I saw lying on the open hand of Him Who was seated on the throne a scroll (book) written within and on the back, closed and sealed with seven seals; And I saw a strong angel announcing in a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the scroll? And (who is entitled and deserves and is morally fit) to break its seals?

And no one in Heaven or on earth or under the earth (in the realm of the dead, hades) was able to open the scrolls or to take a (single) look at its contents. And when I wept audibly and bitterly because no one was found fit to open the scroll or to inspect it.

Then one of the elders (of the Heavenly sanhedrin) said to me, Stop weeping! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root (Source) of David, has won (has overcome and conquered)! He can open the scroll and break its seven seals!” Revelation 5:1-5

As the Lamb approaches, the Scripture goes on to describe the scene and every creature’s response to “This One” who can do the act that no one else in all of creation can do. And we read onto the culmination of this revelation that He alone is worthy, with the resounding decree of “Worthy is the Lamb!”

My point in all of this is that as we struggle with the transition of the body of Christ at large, as well as our own personal transitions; perhaps we look in the wrong direction for our ultimate destination. If we take care of His Kingdom manifestation within each of us, the natural outcome will be our horizontal transition being fulfilled.

“But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His Kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.” Matthew 6:33

Have a Hearing Heart

“Solomon desired more than anything else, to have the ability to hear God’s voice continually.”

We should learn from Solomon, who as a young man had already purposed in his heart that he would ask for wisdom. Solomon can be understood in the original language as having “a perpetually hearing heart” toward the Lord.

Paul Keith Davis once had a vision of Solomon as a young man contemplating God’s promise to his father David. Solomon knew that one of David’s sons would follow him as Israel‘s king.

In his vision, Paul Keith watched as Solomon withdrew to an isolated area and pondered in his heart if perhaps he could be the one. Though he recognized many of the more favorable natural attributes that existed in his brothers, Solomon concluded that if given the opportunity, he would desire to have a “hearing heart” of understanding so that he could rule God’s people in righteousness and justice.

The Bible confirms that the Lord commended Solomon after his wise request by saying, “because this was in your heart” (2 Chronicles 1:11), Solomon received the desire of his heart and all the many things that he did not ask for, because he desired, more than anything else, to have the ability to hear God’s voice continually.

The admonition in Revelation: “He who has ears let him hear what the Spirit is saying,” is so appropriate for us in this hour. We hear it so often and I pray that we do not allow the impact of its relevance escape us.

O that we would have that perpetually hearing heart that can recognize the Lord’s voice calling us to “Come up here” into the revelation of Jesus Christ. He is the only One who is worthy! In doing so, we truly can make the transition that we are experiencing to be made manifest as the sons of God in the Earth.

Lord, let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in us as it is in Heaven; that we might truly see Your Kingdom come to life before our very eyes.

JoAnn McFatter: “The Lost ART of CREATIVITY–We are Dawning on an Age of Creativity Never Seen Before”

“The Lost Art of Creativity.” A bit of a play on words, granted, but tragically real is this state of affairs. Unfortunately, we as Christians have let that part of us die or, at the very least, lie dormant and/or suppressed in the recesses of who we are. We’ve forgotten Whose Image we are created in–the Creator, Himself!

“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” Genesis 1:27

Men and women alike are born with genuine creativity in our DNA from the very beginning. Children are very creative as we have all observed. It takes a few years for us to beat it down into submission, never to be seen again for some of us. Studies with children have been done–following them through their school years and testing them every couple of years. At the beginning ages of two and three years old, they ALL test out at “creative genius,” but by the age of eighteen, only one percent remain in that category. Again, our Greek-minded school system has squeezed our natural, God-given creative tendencies right out of us, which caused us to fit a mold that somebody, somewhere decided was “the norm.”

The day we are born from our mother’s womb, we are just nine months from being separated with God in the Spirit, so that experience is still fresh in us. The memory of it is slowly drawn from us by the ideas and thoughts of an earthly realm that are presented to us by well-intentioned people. Nonetheless, the understanding we had is suffocated and the voice of God is smothered. These days–creativity truly is a lost art.

Our Imagination Can Become Reality

I want to bring our attention to the influence this has had on our “ability” to grasp the supernatural and to even have faith for believing. We live in a “need to see it to believe it” society. Sometimes we don’t even believe when we see, because we’ve been tricked too many times and we find it difficult to trust. Of course I believe in testing the spirits, as we are told to do in Scripture, but that is not what I’m referring to here. In the Christian world, we have been told to stay away from fantasy, which I agree with, but we’ve stayed SO far away that we’ve lost our ability to even receive a thought from God in our mind’s eye–our imagination. Imagination does not have to be a bad thing. It can be used for good or evil just as any other ability we have. David says:

“I know also, my God, that Thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto Thee. O Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of Thy people, and prepare their heart unto Thee.” 1 Chronicles 29:17-18

Our imagination is engaged in faith for the supernatural. Are we going to believe for that thing we cannot yet see? Are we going to imagine that thing we are pressing into with faith, believing it? Our faith causes an image to form in our imagination. We come into agreement with God and He causes our imagination to see what He says is real. It is something yet to be, at least in the physical realm, though in God’s mind it already is. To be or not to be, truly is the question being posed to us by faith, itself! We can agree with what God is telling/showing us, and thereby co-labor with Him to bring it to pass.

When we speak of imagination, we speak of the future as in something we are getting an image of, that has not yet taken shape or form in this physical realm. If it already has, then it is considered knowledge. It’s already a done deal. If it has not occurred, not yet taken shape, it still lies within the imagination. These are images that we hope will move from the realm of possibility to the physical reality, having substance, but is still waiting in the future.

Just as knowledge speaks of the past, revelation speaks of the present–the now–something being realized at this moment. Once it is realized it becomes knowledge; the three stages being knowledge (past), revelation (present), and imagination, (future). But it takes agreeing with the thing as God sees it in our own imagination to believe for a thing. In fact, I think you could say it takes imagination to please God! As bold as this may sound, Scripture is telling us just that:

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for He who comes to God must believe that He is, and is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:1, 6

If you hope for something it is not yet seen, so you can only imagine it in your mind as you agree with what the Spirit of God is inspiring you toward. In exercising your faith for it, you will see the substance of it within your mind and spirit before it takes form in the physical realm. You agree with it in the Spirit before it takes place in the natural. We participate in bringing something forth as a co-laborer with God. We help to give it substance in this “touch it, feel it” realm we live in just by coming into agreement with what we are seeing. It happens as we give ourselves to the revelation He is releasing to us.

The Creator is Releasing Creativity

Yes, God is the only One who can create on His own, without any assistance, but He has invited us–and it pleases Him, evidently–to have us join with Him in this endeavor. He says:

“That which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.” Ecclesiastes 1:9

Anything that has been or will be is already in Him. It’s just that some of it has been given substance, as is the above Scripture references, and some of it has not–as of yet. But He tells us it will be:

“Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth. Shall you not know it?” Isaiah 43:19

He even goes so far as to tell us we cannot even imagine what is locked up in His heart for us to enter into with Him. It remains only in His understanding, as of yet.

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those that love Him.” I Corinthians 2:9

He has invited us to participate with Him in all of this and is just waiting to release the new to us and through us. Our problem is that we are so prone to taking a God-inspired idea or thought, sifting it through our own limited mindsets, and turning it right back into an old familiar thing. It’s the typical, “starting out in the Spirit and ending up in the flesh” syndrome that we so easily fall into. We aren’t opening ourselves or our imaginations to His revelation as it comes to us. Instead, we reshape it within OUR understanding, instead of just believing and agreeing exactly with what He has said. If we just let the Word of God permeate our imagination and would come into agreement with THAT, we would see so much more.

Let us say, “God, help us all to open up what is left of our shriveled up imaginations to be filled with the Rhema of Your creative Word!” We’ve shied away from it for so long. But we are at the dawning of an age of creativity such as we’ve never seen before, for it will be Holy Spirit driven.

God wants to overshadow us with that God-seed idea. His treasury room in Heaven is FULL, waiting to be accessed by you! There are so many different things such as books, paintings, inventions, architecture, business strategies, patents, music–the list goes on and on–just waiting for ones who will open their mind and spirits to receive it from Him.

The creativity is above all that we have seen or heard up to this point in history. He’s saved the best till last–or maybe it just took us this long to be able to tap into what He has wanted to release all along. Either way, it’s there for us now. It’s a “stretch out your tent pegs” moment in time. Allow your imagination to be filled with the creativity of God that was in us in the very beginning, before we got reprogrammed by man.

That is the invitation to us all–to stand with God and allow Him to hover over us with His Divine Imagination, imparting to and igniting our imagination in order that we might give substance to what is in the mind of God. Even that we might give substance here on earth to something that is in that treasury room in Heaven.

I spoke 10 years ago about the Spirit Renaissance that I saw coming. There are tokens out there of it, such as Akiane the young painter/poet/musician, but I believe there is to be a manifestation of this creativity in the masses, just as it has been spoken of relating to the supernatural. Become one with Him to allow that flow to be released. Your access to it all is through your relationship with Him. He wants to release through you as this last surge of creativity is released upon the earth! Can you just imagine it? Now–imagine yourself right in the middle of it!
